Being Progressive

A progressive person is someone who always advances for better. S/he tries to move ahead in life by hard work, accepting the challenges, learning from the past doings and trying new and innovative ideas to the existing concepts. It is said that success bestows to a prepared mind. A prepared mind is a progressive mind. There are a few tips that are to be considered and qualities to be developed for being liberal and progressive.


Morality and Personality:

 A non-moral and characterless person is not considered a good human being. An influential and amiable personality with a good moral character is a sign of wisdom and is first and foremost quality of a dynamic individual.

Accepting changes and challenges:

Time is prone to constant change. Things and circumstances alter variably from one moment to the next. Thus it is necessary to accept the changes that keep arising in the world. The one who reacts with firmness and conservative ideology will remain as inanimate as a rock and cannot be considered as progressive individual. It is important to depart the traditional concepts and welcome the new and innovative ones.

Accomplishing Duties:

Taking responsibility and accomplishing it is like chewing iron. Only a forward looking person will take on and complete tasks. Successfully bringing out a task to finish proves the authenticity of the individual. Randomness and halts in one or many tasks and sudden hopping from one thing to another is similar to inputs without an output. Geniuses always follow a certain path until their death or it's success. It was not with simple will that Thomas Alba Edison tried a thousand times to light a bulb.
Keeping right connections:
Who you are depends on whom you are with. Friends and co-workers influence the thoughts and personality of the person. Friends can give advice during problems, warnings of the forthcoming threats and help during difficult times. Keeping good company of wise seniors and learned intellectuals provide inspiration and motivation to achieve your goals. Keeping in touch with optimistic and ideal persons therefore is essential.

An objective:

Every person needs to have an objective in life. Progress is only possible in right direction if you have a goal to achieve. It is said that everyone is born with a purpose. It is the person's duty to identify it and when he makes the real purpose his goal in life, there is nothing that can keep him from advancing towards his goal. That goal is something that pulls him/her towards it. It builds the interest and and the soul craves for the purpose. That is the goal of one's life and that is what s/he is made for.
A Vision:
An intelligent person sees the world with his own eyes. S/he doesn't depend on others' ideas for defining something. Developing own point of view is achieved by deep understanding of a subject one has to deal with. When the preceding ideas and concepts are learned, understood and analyzed and the individual integrates his innovative ideas into the traditional concept then forms a modern and innovative point of view. This vision has developed the scientific arena of today's world. And this is why students are always progressive than the teachers.
